Quality Assurance

Matus Windows will provide upon request the manufacturers written warranty for any window or door product that is installed. All window and door products are guaranteed from the manufacturer to be free of defects in workmanship and material that might affect the performance at the time of installation.

Matus Windows will guarantee that windows and doors are installed in accordance with the written proposal and in a professional manner. Workmanship concerning the installation of fasteners, interior, and exterior trim, aluminum capping and other finish work around windows and doors will be guaranteed to be free of defects for as long as the original homeowner owns the home.

Matus Windows will provide the installation to replace defective window and door parts that are guaranteed by the manufacturer at no cost for a period of three years after the install date. Defects include but are not limited to seal failure in insulated glass, balance adjustment/failure, and misalignment. Defects not guaranteed include but are not limited to repairs as a result of negligence, glass breakage, accidents, vandalism, and natural catastrophe.

If a defect that is covered under the manufacturers warranty is discovered after three years but before ten years of the install date, Matus Windows can at the homeowner's discretion either provide the replacement part at no cost or provide and install the replacement part for a service charge.

All warranties are limited to the replacement of defective parts and do not include repainting or other consequential repairs.

All warranties will apply to the original homeowner. Warranties are transferable if the new homeowner notifies Matus Windows within 30 days of the transfer date.
